News

Nothing becomes real until you feel it. Here, a spring runs between the stones; there, a basket of fresh herbs and
multicoloured vegetables; there again, a table in the garden appears synchronously with firefly season. The grace of the Mediterranean stirs our senses and shapes our actuality.

The taste of the Mediterranean

A salty breeze has swept over our hills. With it, a confluence of a thousand years of history and civilisations. Infinite landscapes, inexhaustible sources of inspiration... And in our gardens, dotted with fragrant flowers, fruits and vegetables that have become legendary recipes, all the generosity of a nature blessed by the gods. This is our Mediterranean.

The Saint-Paul Master Class

Our mothers and grandmothers said, "If you want to learn to cook, first watch how it's done."
In part to please them, but mainly out of a desire to learn alongside a real chef, we went to renowned highly reputed Saint-Paul, Relais & Châteaux.

  •  Master Class from €85 per person, meal included.
  • Wine tasting in the restaurant cellar on request.

It's an understatement to say that the garden fires the imagination of our chefs! Around a large brazier, big green eggs, in extraordinary illuminated and atmospheric buffets, tapas evenings or simply 5-star brunches, they bring out the big dishes and we bring out the sneakers so we can dance without getting stuck in!

Art

Great friendships give rise to the most passionate projects and unexpected creations. In the round of encounters and dialogue with nature, art continues its dance, giving our perceptions an emotional colouring.

In this special ART section:

The new era of the Fondation Maeght

A new stroke of genius was needed to extend the exhibition space without undermining the intention of the great masters and the beauty of the site. Architect Silvio d'Ascia rose to the challenge: "We didn't want to add anything, we wanted to subtract." And it is under the Miró and Giacometti courtyards, without taking his eyes off the play of light and shade in the pine forest, that Silvio d'Ascia intends to respect and seize upon the avant-garde spirit that presided over the creation of the Foundation. An additional 580 m² of floor space opens the way to a double programme.

One night's dream from the masters of design

A place for art and design, the Fondation CAB is pursuing its vision of a living evolving space. It's an all-encompassing experience, just as its founder Hubert Bonnet wanted it to be, and one that naturally continues at nightfall and in the café-restaurant at breakfast time. Set in a tree-infused garden, with its 4 bedrooms and the Jean Prouvé house, we are enchantingly transported to the home of the great masters of design.

Artsy break

SOUS LES PINS by The AGITATEURS
at the FONDATION MAEGHT

The place: Nestled in the Fondation’s gardens under the Aleppo pines, the tables on the terrace open to a marvellous mosaic by Marc Chagall and a figure straight out of Miró's imagination, an enchanting place for lovers of art and nature.

The cuisine: Like Pol Bury's kinetic sculpture, Juliette and Samuel’s cuisine is in constant transformation. The seemingly ‘simple’ dishes are surprising in their technicality and the combination of textures and aromas borrowed from the world’s delights.

SOL, the creative table
of the FONDATION CAB

The place: At the head of the immense 50s ocean liner of the Fondation CAB, overlooking the Antibes peninsula,
the restaurant's patio offers peace and tranquility. With Sol LeWitt as a reference, chairs and tables by Charlotte
Perriand, Charles Zana as architect, and light as a guest, the restaurant is a wonder in itself.

The cuisine: Simplicity and originality are key to chef Jean-Luc Adam, who took over the kitchen in June 2022. The aromas of Mediterranean dishes will whet your appetite as soon as you walk through the door. The menu is organised around imaginative "homemade" cuisine.

Podgorny Gallery

Between the Colombe d'Or and the Café de la Place, the large window of the Podgorny gallery offers passers-by an artistic glimpse. In the white square, the materials and epochs of Bernard Bezzina, Reza Derakshani, John Franzen and Massimo Vitali converse with particular inclination for Jason Robinson's decompartmentalized choice,“visuals and abstraction, but not only that...”.

Artist's garden

Cybèle, painting is my garden
“The garden, nature is my painting, one could say”… A good "gardener," as she calls herself, the artist fertilises impressionist soil, plants motifs, and composes as she sees fit. At the studio door, a palette of roses and nasturtium oranges, the living represented by koi fish and cats, the sea and sky add to the alchemy of colours.

"I dream of immensity, of suns and seas. If they don't exist, I'll invent them, I'll paint them!", Cybèle.
