Atelier Joanna Painter
French-English artist Joanna Painter has a predestined name. Through her paintings, she seeks to capture the very essence of nature and invite us to experience it in a deep and intuitive way. Painter of contemporary realism, Joanna also draws and sculpts.
Joanna's talent was quickly noticed: in 1933 and 1994, she was selected for the prestigious BP Young Artist of the Year Exhibition at the National Portrait Gallery in London.
Joanna offers art classes for adults and children aged 3 and over through her association ‘Art Expression avec Jo Painter’. She also runs art workshops at village festivals and events.
Joanna is a member of the Cercle des Artistes de Saint-Paul de Vence and takes part in solo and group exhibitions at the Vieille Forge.

Opening hours and dates
Open by appointment. Art classes and courses: drawing, painting, sculpture, etc.
Children's workshop / 3 to 7 years: Wednesdays, 2.30pm to 4pm and 4.30pm to 6pm.
Children's workshop / 8 years: Fridays from 5pm to 6.30pm
Teen workshop: Saturdays from 10am to 11.30am
Adults' workshop: Tuesdays from 10am to 12.30pm and from 2pm to 4pm; Fridays from 10am to 12pm or 2pm to 4pm.
