Although there is currently a boom in drawing in the art world, Thomas Müller is one of the few artists who devote themselves exclusively to drawing. And that was back in the 1980s, during his student years in Stuttgart. But at that time, and up until the mid-1990s, Müller also practised painting in equal measure. It is worth pointing this out, because painting not only continues to live on in his drawings - through the choice of technical processes (oil and acrylic colours) and aesthetically (painted surfaces and volumes).
